It was a pleasure working with Matt Morden of Morden Productions for a group photo shoot at our Education and Anthropocene workshop held in 2023. Matt was not only professional but also friendly and down to earth, making the experience enjoyable for everyone involved. The photos he captured in a tight timeframe were of excellent quality, capturing the essence of the event and the group of researchers beautifully. We highly recommend Matt for any photography needs and look forward to working with him again in the future.

 

 

APPS Conference

Matt photographed a conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for my organisation in November 2019. He did an excellent job of capturing photos of as many of the speakers as possible. This was not something that had happened before at our conference so many people enjoyed seeing the photos of themselves presenting. Usually, our photographers concentrate on capturing only the keynote speakers. We had many concurrent sessions so it was a huge challenge for Matt to go from room to room while the talks were done concurrent in 15 min slots. He mastered the challenge! Best of all Matt's manner was warm and friendly so that he made people feel at ease while taking their photos during poster, function and lunch breaks. Thanks for the great job and very competitive pricing Matt.

 

Australasian Plant Pathology Society Biennial

Having Matt photograph the Australasian Plant Pathology Society Biennial at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre was a very positive experience. Matt spent 3 long days and two evenings photographing our meeting of approximately 500 delgates. It was no small feat to capture photographs of every speaker as there were 5 concurrent sessions and he had to race from room to room to get them all. Matt was very easy going and went about his work in a quiet and efficient way and made a great photo gallery for us shortly after the meeting had finished. He did a fantastic job of capturing the moment and we have a fabulous record of the science and the socializing, the people, the food, and the good times had by all. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt as an event photographer.

Me and my wife recently had Matt and Lexi photograph our wedding for us, and let me say, they were amazing! They were both very patient with us and our large loud families. They were very attentive and were sure to capture all of the special moments for us. I didn't notice them there pretty much at all night, and to me that's a good thing, it meant that they were capturing all of the amazing candid shots that we recently received. And they all look GREAT! To me having a photographer blend in with the crowd so that you don't even notice them there is perfect, this means that we never had to worry about them being there getting the shots or them blocking the view from our guests during the ceremony. Any time during the night where we were saying "Hey wheres matt lets get a photo" you would turn around and he would already be there taking them. And they look way better than we could have hoped. We received a TONNE of shots from them all laid out on a nice portfolio online for us to view and to show off to all of our friends and family without having to remember to bring the usb stick with us, which we also received from them soon after. We also received a go-pro video of the ceremony from a balcony where you can see the entire church and it will be a great memory that we now have thanks to Matt and Lexi. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! for a photographer who actually listens to you and strives to get you the shots you want for a great price Definitely hire Matt and Lexi!! Thanks for the great night guys!

Matt photographed a family shoot for us recently which was a gift for our parents and involved them, my brother and I with our partners and most importantly their grandkids. It was a very relaxed and fun session and we were all thrilled with the shots he took. They turned out better than we could have imagined!! We struggle to get a toddler to look at the camera, let alone two babies as well so it was impressive that he could capture everyone beautifully! We chose Morden Productions to photograph our wedding based on photos we had seen from other's wedding. We liked the combination of natural photos but also posed photos that still looked candid. Matt and Lexi are truly amazing. We met Matt and Lexi at a wedding expo and they were so friendly and down to earth, they made us feel comfortable and relaxed, whilst they explained their packages, without being pushy. The engagement shoot was great because we really got to see how Matt worked and what to expect on the wedding day. Having that trial run as such put my mind at ease that I had definitely, picked the right person for the job. On the wedding day, i was so happy. Matt and Lexi were real professionals whilst being easy-going. I had a few random requests and they captured everything i had asked for and more. Throughout the whole process, Matt made it easy and kept in contact, which was brilliant. I love all the photos and really finding it hard to pick just one or two to put on my walls.

The Sphere Agency commissioned Matt for a fast turn around, Social Media campaign for one of our local clients here in Melbourne, Australia. Knowing we required a photographer that would need to work closely with children and parents, we chose Matt of the basis of his previous work with children and families from his portfolio. Matt was professional, timely and was contactable throughout our shoot. Given the short lead time, snapshot brief and weekend work - he was wonderful and highly recommendable.

All of our guests commented on how easy going and accommodating they were. The photos were beautiful, and they made sure that we were whisked away at sunset to get those beautiful sunset snaps! I have tried countless times to write this review for Matt and Alexis, words just seem to fail me.. I honestly can not praise them enough! Nothing I write seems to express quite how incredible they truly were on our wedding day and just how grateful Raymond and I are from the bottom of our hearts for the way they were a part of and captured the best day of our lives.. Matt and Alexis were professional, caring, helpful, friendly, playful, accommodating, sensitive, calming, and so much more! They were with us every step of the way and getting shots of even the littlest things that have made for an all-inclusive album that has not missed one part of our entire day! From the groom and groomsmen’s impromptu gym session before the wedding, beautifully laid out images of our rings, bouquets and dresses, playful shots of myself and bridesmaids getting ready, emotional photos of my mother and I before the ceremony, action shots of all our family and friends partying at our reception, to the perfect coverage of the ceremony and most important part of the day.. They did not miss a thing! Our family and friends raved about how lovely, funny and friendly they were and honestly they felt like part of our family on the day, we were honoured to have them not only as our photographers but as our guests! Alexis was like an honorary bridesmaid, she helped keep me calm and even talked my bridesmaids through how to get me to the bathroom in my giant dress 😂 .. The end results speak for themselves, our wedding photos are truly beautiful and much more special than we ever could have imagined! Thank you Matt and Alexis, you guys were absolutely amazing, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
